Default Blindness Immunity & True Seeing Shards

I have crafted a few shards and made a few items, but last night I was going to make some goggles with Blindness Immunity and True Seeing, but I could not find the shard recipes in the Bound or Unbound Shard Crafting Devices in House K.

Do these have to be made somewhere special?
Do I need a higher crafting level (176)?
Do I need a higher character level (20)?
    Were these removed?

Is it a possible bug that these are missing?

I am currently using this as a guide http://ccplanner.byethost14.com/?i=2

Crafting level according to the planner you linked is 250/400 (Bound/unbound) for both shards. Can't remember how close in CC level you need to be to see the shards.

I guess that keeping an random loot Blindness Immunity item is cheaper, then ?

I just keep a stack of remove blindness potions instead. Even easier

This is mostly what I use as well.

For dozens of lives as caster or ranged DPS, it has worked fine for me. Get blinded? Pop a potion. Find the offending mob and take it out. I have used the same hotbar slot for years.

However, on the occasions I have played melee, I have decided that a permanent fix (item, augment) is preferable. I don't know if I actually get blinded more often as melee, or if it is more that I feel the potion is just too slow when in close contact with bad guys. For whatever reason, my solution changes depending on the character I am playing.

I just recently got my CC up high enough to make those; I want to say it was 225 (226?) when I was able to actually have a % chance to see and craft those.

Yes, I use pots for blindness, curse, disease, fear, paralyzation (snicker), and poison because I can use them all from level 1 onward. Basically I keep a stack of 100 each, which I replenish from time to time.

Another option is the ml8 topaz of blindness immunity augment if you have the room to slot it.

Honestly, I wouldn’t waste a Cannith crafting slot for something that doesn’t scale, and non-scaling effects are where augments really shine.

I made a set of googles with true sight and blindness immunity on it years ago. Great level 2 item that I have been using for well over a year now.

    Default Change the maximum level

To answer the original question, you are not seeing the recipes because they are above the level range set on the right side of the crafting window.

Set the number to the right (after 'to') to a large number, like 900. Click back on another part of the menu and that number will change to the actual maximum possible (currently 340 for bound shards, which is the sort you would want to make) and all matching recipes, even ones that you cannot craft, will be displayed.
