Just a note from a longtime subscriber. Me and my daughter opened accounts in 2006, in her early teen years, and we played together. She stopped playing about 5 years ago. Well, she is currently an ER nurse in Illinois, took care of a covid-19 patient and got sent home for a 2 week quarantine. Running out of things to do, I mentioned DDO and now she is on all the time. Gives her something to do and my wife, who has an account also, have been able to have conversations with her. She has since been released by public health to go back to work (she is fine), and is still texting me and asking if I am online. Thank you very much along with your generous offer of opening up all the quest being Illinois is on a "stay at home" status.. I would like to extend to you all, Thank you. With the free period coming to an end in a few days, I just wanted to say "thanks again" for pulling something like this. Being able to wile away the hours not worrying about the outside world was really, really nice. But at the same time, yeah, we know things have to come to an end sooner or later.
If you have to re-lock everything, could you at least then put the expansions and stuff on sale so it's not a huge step for people to regain the full game if they so desire- not just on the DDO in-game Shop or Market, but Steam too? I mean, not everyone has $100 to buy all the expansions and $15 for a month of VIP... but even cutting the price in half would be a great.
