Detailed descriptions of specific bugfixes I can understand not being included in these "patch" notes. But it would not have hurt to include a generic note about bugs being fixed in general.

BTW...I seem to recall Release Notes in the past mentioning bug fixes.

Mine failed too, after 3-4 retries it worked though. (Too impatient to wait for it to retry on it's own so I closed it and restarted myself)

Having the same problem Coco, even did a full reinstall to see if that would fix it, but no go

Mine didn't update properly the first time but I tried again after a few minutes and it went fine. Except when it finally loaded the game world it wouldn't load my characters. The list was there but the place where they stand was empty. Then it stopped responding. So I exited it and logged in again. Everything's okay now. But I had a moment of scare.

After having investigated this over the course of today all logs have indicated that this isn't actually an issue with the launcher itself so much as external intermittant issues. We have a suspicion that this occassionaly happening may be a result of the current situation where internet service providers getting overwhelmed but we don't know for sure.

As a result, we don't have a good workaround besides potentially retrying or trying a data repair which is available in the launcher menu. Again, though, we don't have a reliable workaround.

I also had an issue where it failed to download the patch. Restarted the client multiple times to no effect. Restarted computer, and it worked just fine.

Hello, i've been having same error issue with the update. I've attempted many things that didn't work out, until i had the idea of using my phone as router and so started the launcher and it did download finally. So, if you are having problems to download the update, maybe you could try to switch your connection to another source.

This worked for my hubby. Son had no problems whatsoever and our computers are all in the same room so? I have no idea. Computers are crazy-magic to me.
