Hey Kobold Union! How are the shineys?
For my static group, I'm about to TR what was a great Intimitank build that was a blast to play. I drew Cleric this time, mainly to give the old Cleric player a chance to run something different, and because I have some decent experience running Healers back in the day (pre 2014). Just to give you an idea of my (modest) skill level - my groups don't usually die, but my major playstyle weakness is overhealing... working on that one. And I'm heavy on crowd control (Soundburst, Commands, Grtr Command) at the expense of healing feats etc because if the enemy is stunned or on their face, they aren't damaging my mates to begin with.
So our group will be running R2s with me serving as Primary Healer. I looked at Druid, seems intriguing, but someone else will be playing Druid (as melee & backup healer) and I don't want to steal their thunder. I'm THINKING my best build will be focused on crowd control (see above), with healing feats/enhancements given more priority than I usually do, and maybe go Death Domain for the SLAs? Would like to throw in some melee DPS but I think that's stretching it, as I have not been a healer for Reaper content yet... just Elite content.
Upsides:
Toon is Racial and Class Completionist, with the 3 Life bonuses of each caster class.
Max stat and skill tomes.
Stacks and stacks of mana pots
Downsides:
My race has to be Warforged - sorry, but it's character flavor that I'll have to work around - he's a Plant, with Livewood Docent and Mushroom Cap cosmetics.
I have little raid gear, but can easily craft any Cannith items to be decently geared up.
So I'm looking at going pure cleric (we TR again at 20, so he doesn't need to be Epic worthy) with Death Domain and Falconry.
Let me know if you have any ideas for a stronger or more "interesting" build.
Thanks
Fen
