Warlock wand style viable for dps tankin? (temporary hp healer)

In the past, before reapers, I was willing to have a wand in my main hand fulltime for the Warlock temp hp healing. You can set yourself up to auto attack and use the click for healing self or party. Super helpful to the party back in the day but it's tougher out there now and I wonder if it's still viable or if there is a better way. Do people switch gear to do their Warlock wand heals? Switching seems like a slow process, leading to not doing much healing. If I have a wand in main hand, what items work well in the offhand. I'm thinking Hurl Through Hell path. Should I abandon Warlock wand healing? I am I missing something? I am no Warlock expert.

Idk bout wands but heal scrolls work great for heriocs anyways better off just self healing though

Max heal amp and wand and scroll mastery done

Tanking epics though i wouldn't bother off hand just skyvault with maybe lgs aff or your sw

Plenty of healing staunch, shining through, rejuv, renewal if you twist or run in us, ea 2 mass heals
