I'd like to have seen access to hardcore via a special "hardcore pass" that would cost about 1/2 or even 1/3 the price of a regular VIP subscription & have it grant all the benefits of VIP but only on the hardcore server itself - regular VIPs would get it as part of the package, but it'd allow premium or f2p accounts to join in & check out the different quests & classes without needing so much initial investment as well as being able to run with more experienced players who wouldn't be anywhere near as overpowered in comparison.

Personally, I'm less fussed about hardcore this time around, but I'll probably still go for the level 20 & 1750 favour targets, and it's always nice to be able to get another set of those 1st redemption per server bonuses from various expansions.
