Interesting Alchemist Trainer Bug

I just quickly rolled up an Alchemist on the Hardcore server, and being the flower sniffer that I sometimes am, I found a very interesting bug.

If you speak to the Alchemist trainer, everything seems very normal at first.


When you start to inquire for tips, you can see four different options. The first two work pretty much as intended. The third/fourth option – along the lines, "give me a third/fourth tip!" – gives the useful and enthusiastic answer of "Here's another tip."


After requesting for a third or fourth tip, things start going haywire. Suddenly she only wants to give you advice about Artificers.


Before you know it, she has now fully converted to an Artificer trainer, voila!


I must admit, this is one of the most peculiar bugs I have encountered during ten years of playing the game, and that's why I wanted to share.


PS. The Alchemist UI disappears when you use Alt+Z, and you have to manually disable and enable it again for it to show up. (Don't know if this is already a Known Issue.)

Hate to be the guy who doesn't notice and accidentally trains a level of artificer when meaning to level as an alchemist.

Actually, I realize you'd probably notice when it came time to pick spells.

I don't actually need a bug for me to do this. On my first Alchy life I saw the "are you sure you want to do this" message from the Artificer trainer too many times.
