Out of curiosity, what is the max sustained L30 attack speed of a dedicated ranger (with or w/o T5 alac) or monkcher bow user with SOTR, whrling/hymn, permanent haste now? Numbers with known double-shot, or without it, would be interesting.
I don't think anybody has measured this in ages, and there have been a lot of changes lately. It's also unclear now how alac numbers translate into actual attack speed due to potential animation changes.

With the limited testing I did at level 30 with 18ftr/2arti split:
Weapon: chaosbow - 25% alacrity
Had shot on the run for all tests
Attack animations:
86/min
w/ primal hynm 86/min
30% haste boost 88/min
Something is clearly wrong. The stats sheets shows all the ranged speed bonuses applying but something is limiting the attack animations. My guess is that attack speed is capped at 86ish. So these changes dont help anyone at cap, but will probably help those leveling a ranger.
Anyone add the ToD ring set Gilvarnor's into the mix? It is a competence source for ranged attack speed and stacks.
From the stats I saw when I was level 30 last life, I had a 55% ranged attack speed in the hover over front page of the character sheet and 20% when looking at the "+" tab bonus.
