It sounds like you accidentally bought the wrong heart and accidentally did a Racial TR instead of a Heroic TR. I've done this exact thing before. It's a pretty easy mistake to make if you don't know what to look for or if you aren't paying attention when you get the heart.

I am a multi class with 15 Ranger, 4 Arty, 1 Barb.

Hmm, an odd one. Just in case this might be the issue, when you did the 1-20 trek for that 2nd Ranger past life, were you a pure class or multiclass? Might be worth checking to make sure you took enough levels in Ranger to get the Ranger PL.

Interesting, it would be easy enough to check since he says he hasn't done any racial past lives yet. If he has one, that would seem to be the answer.

Nope. Very familiar with which to get and it would not let you do a TR with a racial. You have to choose that heart and choose racial. It has to do with the timing of doing the ER and then leveling to 20 to do the TR without waiting an appropriate amount of time.

I bought three otto's boxes (heroic) this May and used the tr reset that came with each. Used a heart of wood each time and did three monk lives in rapid succession and only recorded 2. Is there a way they can check? I logged out and back in thinking it was a bug, but it still says acquired 2 times when I checked again. I can show the digital paper trail with the boxes, but I'm not sure they can check in-game. For the money I spent on these, I was kind of speechless. Anyone else had this? These were all "use the heart of wood, tr, use stone with 50 % XP boost to 18, level quickly to 20 and repeat. Each time I took 8 rogue/2 arty and 10 monk levels in a row last. It seemed simple enough ..........
