I noticed a change in the male human /dance emote around the same time back in December 2019 when cave_diver had reported a change to the /taunt or /flex emote for male half-elves:
https://www.ddo.com/forums/showthread.php/510576
(I do not know if there was any conclusive resolution on that issue since I never saw the /flex animation that they mentioned was changed: "male half-elf .. flexing with one arm.. then turning the hand outward while doing so and nodding.")

currently (on live) the male human has been changed to perform the same /dance (1) emote as the male aasimar /dance (1):

but oddly, I checked on lammania, and the male human on that server does the original /dance (1) which I fondly remember: waving his hands in the air like he does not care as hi pivots from side to side and kicks out accordingly:

Does that mean that the original human male /dance will be restored once update 45 hits live?
What caused this change? I am not sure it is related to what was being reported about the half-elf /flex emote.
