Yeah, she also claimed they have their own in house testing that showed the initial release of Inquisitive to be in line with everything else and not grossly OP.

How many posts were there months ago of people saying that Inq would catch a nerf right as Alchemist dropped? 100's. It's one thing to not care about this sort of problem and continue supporting those people but to pretend it's not even happening is something else entirely. Be comfy in your bad decision. Posting here that you don't think it was on purpose, rather than just admitting the addiction is stronger than you are, doesn't help anyone.

The falconry thing is the same/similar as Harper. It enables character power by allowing stat consolidation. While not as blatant as ramping DPS up to 11, it is still an example of creating demand by allowing already powerful things to exist on the same platform as other powerful things.

Being able to have max/near max DC and DPS on the same platform using the same stat is more powerful than having to choose between one or the other. While this didnt result in people demanding a falconry nerf, it did help result in people demanding a monk nerf.

And right after they made my monk viable again, lol.

And the drops in 1st week after release is not only confirmed, it's a whole institution, i got almost every heroic and epic piece in stealer of souls pack, running 4 times on heroic elite and 4 in epic elite with 2 mules, that's not luck nor rng (same reason to not purchase expansions for them unless at 75% off, cause drops are abismal later on)

Well Aasimar is getting nerfed this update. Twice. Loosing 5% of their racial hp bonus and their LoH is being capped at character level 20. Just FYI.

This is bound to happen with the way updates are planned in this game (slow releases with combined new content and bug fixes).

The extra sales from making new classes much more powerful than existing classes are also exaggerated. In a PVE game where you are expected to reincarnate, people will buy new classes anyway, for the past lifes or just to try them. So the financial incentive for bait and switch tactics isn't as large as people claim.
