Buffs are thematically appropriate, but...
1. What's the difference between Sovereign and Greater Disruption Guard? Also, that effect only exists on one item, and may be a little OP in the era of Ravenloft on a level 29 item
2. Unless it's an artifact, keep Con at 21. Sharn's been out for less than a year (presale in March, release in May), let's not inflate the loot this soon.
I saw what's on the wiki for Greater Disruption, Sovereign Disruption and Greater Disruption Guard.
The difference between Greater and Sovereign Disruption isn't the bonus damage (4d6), it's the HP cap for the vorpal effect. Greater Disruption Guard, on the other hand, says that it ignores the HP cap but deals no bane damage. Would Sov. Disruption Guard have a higher proc chance and/or also deal bane damage?
Asking mostly because you're creating a new item effect. There's no effect progression to follow, as Disruption Guard (sans Greater) doesn't exist and GDG ignores the effect progression standard that the Disruption/Greater/Sovereign weapon effect follows
