Correct. The item as delivered by the DDO Store is unbound. When used, it will open up a UI to claim your reward. Claiming the reward places the various items into your inventory, and all items are Bound to Account.

What is a Lasting Oil of Strengthening?

I was wondering the same thing. Apparently, it is the consumable item that you can get from the Mimic Hunt:

When used, this oil prevents all items from taking durability damage for 10 minutes.

although lasting oil suggests that it would last for longer than 10 minutes.

I thought initially that it might be an oil that permanently increases the durability of an item, but it is probably for situations where you are using a quarterstaff or fighting against an ooze/slime/rust monster/earth elemental for extended periods of time like Creeping Death.

Actually, whilst not entirely accurate, Green is one of the "Elements" available to glamor your cosmetic weapon: Enhanced Acid (It's what makes a cosmetic Sunsword look like a Green Lightsabre.).

Anyway, back to point, those two Weapon Aura Glamours aren't very useful in most cases, since it doesn't really carry the colours and looks you really want and doesn't work on all weapon glamours either (Poison, Fire, Acid, Cold, Electricity and Holy for example absolutely does nothing on the Sunsword cosmetic, but the Enhanced Fire, Electric, Acid and Cold show up in various degrees. Acid being the best looking as its very clear and obvious, then Enhanced Fire, then Enhanced Cold, with Enhanced Electricity barely looking like its on it).

So those grabbing this bundle need to take care as you've only got two to use.

For those of us who don't care/don't want all the cosmetic stuff, could SSG, in the future, make some of your bundles like this cheaper without all the cosmetics? I would be much more inclined to purchase bundles that don't have stuff that just takes up inventory space and/or is deleted as soon as I get it.

I am not saying don't offer exclusively non-cosmetic bundles, I know there is a big demand for them. Just asking for those of us who don't want it.

It's not P2W, as there is no winning in DDO. There as somethings I'd rather spend some $$ on than grind out in the game. As in, my time is limited, and there are somethings I really enjoy, and others I do not. I'd rather pay $$ to get to focus on what I enjoy.

It's a funny thing, I know people who don't bat an eye at spending $100 to go to the movie theater. I have friends who will drop $500 at the casino on a regular basis. If you can afford it, it's just another form of entertainment.
