Of course it's still an issue. Anything other than you losing 2K xp is completely irrelevant. You presumably paid money for this virtual product. It has to work right.

Hope it gets sorted for you.

Default Okay, so I am an idiot...

Well, I have to now acknowledge my own failure. I would not want to cause anyone at SSG to spend time tracking down the problem, because this was truly my fault.

When I was doing this, I had expected to have to spend 6000 xp (again, this was wrong too, but I had recently upgraded a gem from scratch to 3 slots for the same character). So I had gotten the tensors box *and* a 1000 xp gem out of my bank in preparation for the upgrade. (Yeah...you see where this story is going, but let me spell it out...)

I thought I had rearranged backpack slots in such a way that all the stuff out of the box would end up in a single tab.

I opened the box and fed what I thought was a 5000 xp gem to the minor artifact. I only got 1000 xp and immediately thought something was screwed up. But then...I thought...wait...did I feed the wrong thing? So I counted the gems remaining in the backpack tab where I was working. Only nine 5000 xp gems! Yep...I had been screwed out of XP!

Then came the ticket. Then the post.

Logged back on. Decided life must go on, so I started working some other issues and noticed on the first tab of my backpack (which I thought I had filled with other junk), there was another 5000 xp gem. Somehow despite my preparations and intentions, I fed the 1000 xp gem instead of one of the 5000 xp gems.

    Doh!

But one final annoyance followed. I decided I should cancel my ticket, since obviously this was my fault and nothing bad happened at all. But now I can't get the help ticket window to populate! It is just staying black...sigh...

When the Help window remains unpopulated, move your mouse near the bottom of the inside of the Help Window. Click and drag that area if need be, but it should then populate it unless if there's some serious lag going on at SSG side (which is rare for the Help Window).

Thanks for the tip. That did get it to populate. I have played this game a long time, but that is just the 5th ticket I ever submitted, so not real familiar with the quirks.

It's not P2W, as there is no winning in DDO. There as somethings I'd rather spend some $$ on than grind out in the game. As in, my time is limited, and there are somethings I really enjoy, and others I do not. I'd rather pay $$ to get to focus on what I enjoy.

It's a funny thing, I know people who don't bat an eye at spending $100 to go to the movie theater. I have friends who will drop $500 at the casino on a regular basis. If you can afford it, it's just another form of entertainment.

I wonder if it's capped to prevent leveling twice with one feed (to stop exploits etc?). Doesn't really follow, but it's the best I can come up with lol.

Sounds like you're really just out 2k SXP, right? Annoying, but at least is a pretty minor loss? I'd obviously also prefer if stuff worked, but this is a pretty niche case XD

Like Otto's Boxes, they were only in the store for a short time.

This^, in so many words, is how you say time and feedback on Lamannia are wasted.

Hm... sometimes I don't get SSG's marketing strategy. Personally, I'm in need of one of these right now... instead I have to concentrate on getting sentient food in the old fashioned way, i.e. I will most likely not need a box next time it comes around.

IMHO it would be better to make this kind of offer permanent for a much higher price, and periodically have a discount on them. It seems that SSG doesn't want my money... *sad panda*
