Yep, so be prepared for rainbow vomited jovial text and cookies that retroactively change recipe. Add in a few festive icons on the forums and additional lag in game and it’s like every other year.
Pity they don’t change things like coal or be useful as a weapon, or even make a cold resistant piece of equipment. Gladly take some peppermint stick daggers, or alchemical cupcakes. Or even some festive cosmetics... but no we get cookies and fruitcakes with little effort put into them.
Nothing worse then having to farm a random gift for yourself, and regifting all the junk that nobody wants. I think I’ll just give out coins and let others be let down with the rewards while I wait for winter games to hit later.
I would have a sig, but Someone might be offended by it so I will just list characters.
Vicinity, Proximity, and far to many bank toons too list.
-Sorry to any bank toons that are offended by me not listing mine-
Ravensguard, Ghallanda
Is it just me or do the Risia cakes do nothing? They're supposed to cast snowball swarm, but I can't get them to work.
It does nothing, Same as last year.

SOMEONE IS STANDING NEAR THE JESTER AND THEY'RE ON A HORSE AND I DON'T KNOW HOW TO TARGET HIM!!!!!
YOU HAVE TO FIX THIS!!!!!
right now please
No one in the world ever gets what they want
And that is beautiful
Everybody dies frustrated and sad
And that is beautiful
Why not make him on a giant festive winter wolf, or make horses not be able to be used in public instances.
It would be like making the entire bar selectable in a tavern to engage the bartender, or make horses not useable in a tavern.
Or maybe that was just a festive jab on first world snowflake problems.
Edit-Can’t wait to see ice skating ponies becoming a problem soon.

The Jester of Festivult, is a fraud and clones himself and appears: The Harbor, atop the Leaky Dingy Tavern, House Phiarlan, in the Livewood Theater, House Jorasco, near Coldwake Pond, House Deneith, west of the Knight's Watch district or House Kundarak, in Locksmith Square.
Perhaps they should shrink horses; to the size of the 'Nat Gann model' that used to appear in the Lamannia Test Dojo, when used in taverns or near public area NPCs. Actually the gnome ponies aren't nearly as annoying as the larger horses are, when they're obstructing NPCs when halted next to an NPC for: several minutes, etc.
My take on "the grind": https://www.ddo.com/forums/showthrea...=1#post6220972
Ordinary humans have inhibitions that serve as a buffer against what we know is bad behavior.
However, some people, by blaming others for their own bad behavior, develop a thought pattern that allows them to override self-control in order to achieve a selfish end.
- My opinion on exploiters and cheaters blaming SSG for unfair punishment.

"You are a Tiefling. And a Cleric, with the Domain of the Sun. Doesn't that contradict each other ?" "No, all my friends are playing evil. I found that so boring that I decided to be on the good side. And, besides, Sun and Fire, where is the difference, really ?"
Well I was disappointed to see what is passing as the winter event..
I remember back in 2011 I had so much fun in that event.. What happened??
Why is Halloween given more effort than christmas?? lmao
