    Default can't play

    hey all, having problems with DDO, took a year sabbatical and tried to reinstal both from steam and from the official website and run into the same problem...
    I've been getting this since I reinstalled the game.... I even tried using Direct X10 and Direct x9, but those didn't help either, any ideas?

    tried to put up an image of the error to no avail... Game Error the connection to the game server has been lost

    What about windows firewall? Or even a firewall on your router, or even a firewall on your cable modem, etc? All I can think of off the top of my head, sorry.

    i tried turning my firewall off
    there's a firewall on my modem?

    Sometimes. Tell me exactly what happens. Do you get into the game at all? The world loads, you can move around, then it disconnects you? Or it doesnt load at all?

    98% of the time it happens while i'm in the character creator, the remaining 2% of the time happens when entering after selecting which character.

    I've even tried doing a full uninstall and reinstall and running direct x9 to see if that helped
