    Default Stacks of arrows

Greetings. I wanted to ask would it be too much of an issue to expand stack of individual arrow type in the inventory to 1k or even 10k?
The problem is you can't effectively manage ammunition and quivers do not help. You shoot your first stack of 100 arrows of halfling bane in 30 seconds and then it loads whatever first thing it finds in inventory. Player is forced to manually fiddle with the slots, this makes ammunition system kinda inapplicable.

    +1

Unless I'm using generic/masterwork/+1 ammo, the quiver I carry collects the opposite of what I'm using, bolts/arrows. I keep my "good" ammo separately, and load in advance for a known upcoming tough fight. Which is to say, I almost never do that - exactly because it is such a pain.

    /yes please

    Oh, also please
    • ammo scaling up to level cap
    • magic returning ammo being a tiny little more common ( about 3-5% of returning throwers by the feeling is fairly rare)
    • decent quiver options being a little more common

Speaking of quivers, would be nice to equip them from toolbar instead of opening.

In my opinion, redesign of the system and make it that player operates only with different kinds of quivers, which simply provide bow with arrows from it, instead of spitting portions by 100, would be much more elegant solution. But i guess increasing size of stack is more doable.

Yup i second this. Especially since you introduced inquisitive.

For a temporary solution it might be possible to equip arrows or bolts from the hotbar? Haven't tested this myself...

Yes, that's the idea, having bunch of large stacks of arrows in inventory and access them through toolbar.

With all of the doubleshot, alacrity, speed boosts, etc. available; what's the fastest time a player can burn through a stack of 100 arrows or bolts? I'm wondering if someone can put together the accomplishment of posting the fastest possible rounds per minute firing rate.

...but also - can we have returning arrow bows? That also solves this problem.

I don't think so. You don't want players to have infinite supply of slaying arrows.

How about random loot gen quivers instead of only named and nonmagical ones? A little more gearing variety is always nice.

Is it even possible to get a comment from dev team on the situation with ammunition? Are there any plans to improve it?

DWS: Tendon Cut: Melee Attack / could become a multi selector. Either making a 1000 arrows with a tendon slice effect. Or reusing existing arrows 60-80%. IMO, A ranger should have a means to best equip arrows without arcane magic.

    1. Take Fletching from enhancement tree/s.

    2. Buy Flame Arrow/Bolt scrolls from House C.

This^ is what I am usually going with, however the UMD 28 will be a bit tufff for starting out players while leveling up a typical martial shooter type. I would use the same reasoning as above, a woodsman type ranger shouldnt need arcane magic to have a better supply of arrows (thematically of course, it makes little rl sense either way :P ).

IMO, 1 level of Ranger should grant automatic feat: Reuse Arrows: [Passive] 25% to chance to retain an arrow. At level 8-9 this could be upgraded to 50%. Level 14 to 75%.

That's not quite fair to other players. For example you bought stack of 100 slaying arrows and with this feat now you have 175.

Powerful ammunition shouldn't be easily accessible, but it should be easy to use.
