Cannot login to my characters on Hardcore

I'm trying to login on my characters on the Hardcore server that are in the Land of Lost Souls. I can get to the login in screen but when I try to load a character it hangs on the Loading screen. Eventually it says Connection to Server Lost and the program exits. I had this same issue earlier in the event intermittently and was able to work around it by using the Transport option at login to go to Forgotten Realms or Eberron.

I do have a living character who was able to log in successfully but I can't access any of the dead ones.

Try changing your connection speed to the highest you can, in Esc, options, troubleshooting, connection speed. Good luck.
