    Default An hilarious suggestion

    Hello,

    the other day I wondered : Why can't i have 2 pets at the same time ? ( I hope I don't mix pets with companions ... i often do so ... )

I mean ... a wolf and a construct at the same time ... Plus hirelins ... a tiny army ...

Of course this is nonsense. It would result in overcrowded plazas and people using this setup to get even faster through quests ...

On the positive side, it would make 4-plate activation a little bit easier ...

I think, next time I'll try out Favoured Soul (Latern Archon !) , just to find out whether this combination would work with Falconry ...

    It is an interesting thought.

As a player who has had to deal with different class combinations thanks to running in a G.I.M.P. static group I can say it was disappointing to find out that I could not have the multiple pets running at the same time. As there would have been a few times where the "extra" help would have been useful (We are G.I.M.P. after all)

Keeping in mind if one where to build a Character that had all three "pets" currently in game, it would be an Artificer/Druid/Wizard which has some synergy but would still be likely a build that would be rather difficult to work with in how many levels of each etc.

I do want to point something out, the Falcon Tree appears to treat that as a Summon and not as a pet. I noticed this during my cleric life after first gaining access to the Falconry Tree that every time I summoned a monster the Falcon (which was an owl) would disappear. Not sure about the Archon but my guess it is it might be similar.

Default Why replies can have titles?

What's the cap on the amount of units you can summon?
I was wondering the usefulness of those +2 all stats for summon/hire/pet

Well, I have tried and did an Artificer/Druid character as an Inquisitive. However, I got the error message that I couldn't summon more than 1 pet - Defender & Wolf are exclusive, so.

My in-game explanattion is that the character believes the construct to be the home of a Wood Spirit - so the Druid belief system is kind of kept / retained. Given that Warforged ones are built out of Lifewood (or Livewood ?), this is not something too far fetched : There is wood in them.

Which had led me to the question, whether Druid Warforged ones could grow leaves on their Lifewood parts ? I tried to imagine that : A wandering Warforged covered by leaves ...

However, another thing I noticed, which tells me that my build must be wrong at one point, is, that I didn't have the Falconry tree available. I do not know what went wrong there so that this tree became unavailable to me, even although I tried to get a relatively high Wisdom value.

The oroiginal plan - which did not work - was, to have an Inquisitive who is not only intelligent and has charisma so that he is able to interrogate people, but who is also a wise person, knowing what works and what not and i able to see how and what people are.

This Inquisitive should hav been able to summon the spirits of Mother Nature :

    - a Wolf
    - a Defender with a Wood Spirit living inside
    - a Bird of Prey

An addition via a Favoured Soul looked like too much hassle to me (I'm very weak with Maths), even although a Latern Archon would very surely have supported the Inquisitive's search for truth.
Maybe I'll try that as a fun build next time. Together with Falconry.

Well, you can already get a small army with pre-order hirelings and they are a lot tougher than the pets too. The issue with the pets is that they don’t scale with character level so multiclassing would make them even more useless than they already are.

Thank you. This reminds me that I have the one from the Starter Pack, and one from the Wheelon pack.
