You say that as if you aren't joking. How can that not be a joke? "Plenty" of F2P content is absurd. Personally, I wouldn't care if there weren't any F2P quests. In fact, I think it'd be better if there were not. Even when they first went F2P, free wasn't really an option for anyone except the poorest of the poor with nothing but time on their hands. At least people could get their foot in the door with F2P back in the day, today anyone even attempting to try the game out with F2P is going to be chased away the first day.

This has not been my experience.

I can tell you, in practice, and without question that what you said above is hyperbole. Just plain nonsense.

We have made many friends over the years thanks to F2P that we would NEVER have even MET without this service. We continue to meet AWESOME new folks because of it's presence in the game.

I am for keeping F2P intact in its entirety, and would support expanding it's benefit to new players, as it was a great plan when it was launched and its even more instrumental now that new blood take advantage of it.

And for the record we've had many who've started as free to play happily upgrade and become a VIP. Others have purchased a la carte and gotten YEARS of entertainment without dropping a whole lot of cash, especially if you compare it to the rising costs of other entertainment like catching a movie in a theater or sitting down in Friendly's / Red Robin or a local bar for a hamburger and fries and a beer.
