The server of Randomisia

Hi the suggestion is simple.


The server creates a randomised character for anyone who logs in to the server.

A toon with random name, randomised look, randsomised stats, random choice of three classes and randomised equipment.

Just imagine the panic and unsatisfaction on player faces when dices are rolled....But also the challange.

Then the game choose a random location for the player to start the game Eberron, Forgotten realms, Ravenloft or Greyhawk.

The player starts with the lowest level required for the setting. The setting is considered the hmeplane of the character.

I would delete on PDKs since I find them cosmetically revolting

I feel the same way about half-elves; at least on PDK I've managed to get one particular set of features to look like Mayim Bialik if she became a weight lifter and did a lot of steroids. I admire her so I'm okay with she-hulk Mayim.

Half-elves, on the other hand, no matter which features I choose... I can't seem to make one that looks either intelligent, or pretty, or fierce. They just look to me like what happens when cousins marry for too many generations.

I think this is the only part that would make it not work for me. I would NEED to choose the appearance of my character even if the race/class/stats were random. I really do mean NEED, as in moral imperative!

Yeah this'd be the only thing - you cant have randomization if you can just reroll till you get something you like.

However you couldnt have complete randomness either - with as many axes of variation as there are in character creation, with as many completely useless options exist for some opportunity choice, like 90%+ of true-random builds would be completely inviable outside Korthos. There wouldnt be any fun or challenge in that, you'd just be trying to play around all the dead weight in your build.
