Just out of curiosity do you have a car? Have you never taken your car in for maintenance? You should go back to your dealer and demand that since you bought your car you should have access to it at all times. Now if they were willing to give you a car for free then that's ok if it has to go in for maintenance.

    Sigh

    O RLY?

No need for a snappy response when you make statements that are nonsensical at face value - you do a much better job than I ever could. But let me walk you through it, and then you can show everyone how I'm so far off...

24 hours in a day x 30 days in a default month = 720 hours (check my math, but you'll have to take my word on those values)

    30 day subscription = $30
    Source = https://store.standingstonegames.com...oryID.58516100

So, approx 700 hours for $30.

approx 3 hour downtime divided by 700 (to keep the math easy) = .00416667, x $30 = 12.5 cents, rounded up to 13 (everything was heavily rounded/approximated in your favor).

Your turn. Walk your talk, or (as we expect) your talk isn't worth the paper it's written on.

However, to be fair, you probably can't really assume someone is available to play for all 24 hours in a day, so even if we allowed a 3 "playable" hours day rule, it would be 50 cents divided by 3 hours, or 17 cents an hour. So the 2.5 hours the HC server was unavailable amounts to almost 43 cents. So it's obvious you're trying to rip people off! We can see through your little "math" trick! Ha!

My take on "the grind": https://www.ddo.com/forums/showthrea...=1#post6220972

Ordinary humans have inhibitions that serve as a buffer against what we know is bad behavior.
However, some people, by blaming others for their own bad behavior, develop a thought pattern that allows them to override self-control in order to achieve a selfish end.
    - My opinion on exploiters and cheaters blaming SSG for unfair punishment.

I renew my VIP at 29.99 for three months.
    C-Dog's statement was accurate.

    Please read his post again.

I'll give you a hint. How many days are in 3 months?

You are being unrealistic and you obviously don't understand the terms of service that you agreed to in order to play. Smart companies don't waste time on issues like this.

Bah. Hint taken. In my defense it was before my morning bacon and coffee...
    I'll plead temporary insanity

Haha no worries, I agree with the spirit of C-Dog's post, I was just ribbing him a little.

Our computers need a banner warning to the effect "Do Not Post Before Coffee".
