Do you know the model of your graphics card?

Which version of Windows is your computer?

    Install DirectX 9.

Microsoft merely ships anything but 9, but DDO needs it.
"You are a Tiefling. And a Cleric, with the Domain of the Sun. Doesn't that contradict each other ?" "No, all my friends are playing evil. I found that so boring that I decided to be on the good side. And, besides, Sun and Fire, where is the difference, really ?"

Interestingly I have the same problem after the last Windows update, but it makes my screen bluish instead of reddish. It is not only the color, though: the image loses clarity too.

You and the OP will probably have to wait until either Microsoft pushes out an update to address the issue or your video card manufacturer (AMD or Nvidia most likely) publishes new driver software for their products.

This^, in so many words, is how you say time and feedback on Lamannia are wasted.

The only thing that I can think of specific to turning the screen red is the Night Light feature. Did it get turned on accidentally? (Search "Night Light" under settings and make sure it's off)

You could update your video drivers.

Otherwise if you're tech savvy you could try reverting to an older build of Windows (you'll have to search Google for "how to undo Windows Updates" or "system restore point") or if not, wait until the next Windows Update to come out and see if that fixes it. Microsoft loves pushing out completely unnecessary updates constantly and breaking stuff along the way. It's for improved system security or some BS like that.
