Question on Ring of the Stalker and vorpal

I'm working on my crossbow builds and stumbled across this oldie.

Specifically is Manslayer effectively vorpal for humanoids? I'm thinking if yes then this item is under-represented in gear layouts. If I could effectively make my ratcatcher vorpal as well starting at lv 11...

Would this be worthwhile at endgame, and if not when would it stop being relevant.

it is on vorpal and that ring is great to slot in epics too up until mid/high epics where Ravenloft and raid gear take over

Manslayer will stop being effective after mid heroics, I guess, but the ring gives sneak damage & seeker too at high rates for level

Quite a few of the challenge items are still very good and often get overlooked because a lot of folks simply hate running them
