    Angry Constantly re-installing

Every couple of weeks (or more often) the game asks if I want to install a high resolution version/files. Except that I already have that. It doesn't matter - no matter what I choose I will have to download the game yet again - then get rid of the cut screen - re-configure my log in screen (I play multiple instances ) re- configure all my display settings - and maybe after about 30 mins of tweaking I'm ready to play. Until it happens again in about a month or less.

Why does this keep happening - It is so frustrating. I have limited play time and I don't want to waste 30 mins or more re-configuring a game that was fine when I last played.

    Windows 10 pro - 64bit o/s - updated regularly
    Direct X 12
    8 gb ram

    Suggestions?
    more information needed?

Do you n-box or does it happen when you restart your client?
If yes, make sure that the client is really closed in your taskmanager.
If not, make sure the game directories have permissions to write.

    Good luck.

    Cheers,
    Titus.

I'm not sure what you mean by n-box? The log in screen gives you the option for multiple game instances. I use to have to run the second instance from a separate hd -but not not for a couple of years now. Once I log out of the game its shut down. I don't allow ddo to run in the background.
