Consuming trophies

For a few weeks, I have had an Impressive Trophy in my inventory. I don't know how it got there, but I can't figure out how to convert it into guild renown. Customer service suggested contacting a GM, but the only response I get is "closing this ticket because you were offline when we tried to help you".

Today, I got a mail saying something like "you misplaced this" and containing a "Tales of Valor". Doubling clicking it in the mail deposited it into my inventory as well. So it's obviously not a strange glitch that this happens.

Does anyone know how to "redeem" these trophies for guild renown? They normally convert on acquire when I get them from chests.

I have a similar one sitting on my alt since it is unbound, I even tried to sell it for shards on the ASAH since I had never seen one before. It is rare but it happens, I would say trash it or mule it as you could probably earn 10x as much renown in the time and effort you would take to get a GM or CS to actually help you with it.

trophies come from chests.
if there's lag, they won't get autoconsumed, instead rot in your inventory until you destroy them.
