change names wish

Hi, I already asked on the in game help section but i'm having problem to realize my wish.

I wanna change my toon name in Obi-1.

The answer i received in game is that there are rename tokens on store, but i'm afraid that will not work.
Not only for the -1 thing but also because i already have a free rename token,
and when i insert /changename Obi-1
it says (Error): There was an error while renaming. The name you have selected is banned.

I appreciate any help in achieving my wish, ty

You can wish to break the rules all you want, but it won't happen. (I bet you can guess why...)

Create a character named Obi. Create a second character named Obi on the Hardcore server. At the end of the Hardcore event, transfer the second Obi to the server you made the first one on... presto! Obi-1.

I was on cannith and transfered to Ghallanda, i tryed to rename on cannith, there was already an Obi, ghallanda already have an Obi, HC server already have an Obi...

thats why i'm tryng to just ask ssg to rename my main Obi-1

Where are the regs re the DDO naming policy? Is there one, or am I just mis-remembering? Looked for them... no luck.

There was also a caveat at one point regarding the "-1" appendage that the player will rename that character in a timely fashion to remove the "-1".
(Tho not finding a link for this, just like last year when I went looking for it. I think that specific point was removed from the naming rules.)

might have better luck making a character on the old republic named xxxDrizztxxx

This as well as -1 is not an allowed character in names. The workaround for this (-1 thing) is to create a character on some other server with the name "<whatever>" and transfer it to a server that already has a "<whatever>" and then it will become "<whatever>-1". I would not suggest using this (expensive) technique with Obi, because that would be breaking the naming policy.
