Nerve Venom is paralysis which does not proc helpless damage from sense weakness. It was changed long ago to a dazed like effect.

With that said I think it's still worth twisting it just not for nerve venom

Any ideas on a cha-based FvS Inq? I currently don't have Aasimar or falconry, but I do have Tiefling and Dragonborn. It would be 2nd life with very little in the way of tomes (just +2 dex from 1750 favor) so I know I'd likely need to put a level up or two into dex for imp precise shot.
Does anyone have an up to date gear guide for this build? I am newly back to the game and not familiar with all the new items over the past 5+ years and i am sure someone has worked it out.
Wow!
I'm interested in what diety feat was taken? It shows righteous weapons taken in the War Soul tree but there isn't an option for crossbows on the Diety feat list. Any help would be appreciated
I liked human for the cheep 20% dmg boost and 1 point into trapping skills i think i did. I want evasion next time around. Was considering just replacing the 2 arti with rogue and deal with no runearm. Theyre not my thing to actually charge and use. That or maybe 2 rogue and 2 arti. But that would extend when you can take IPS for sure. What about 12fvs(heal spell)6ranger(snipershot and feets)2arti
Thoughts? Whats a better split for 1-20 besides 1 barbarian. Or some barbarian mix with evasion in it would be the best of both worlds.
I tried this build with some new-player friends because I wanted a healer with some dps to give them a hand.
For what I needed it is ideal!
I know someone mentioned the critical stacking problems already, but I did notice that the +10% doubleshot from No Holds Barred does not stack with the +10% from Holy Striker (at least on the char sheet anyway).
Interesting, this looks like loads of fun. Wonder if I can do this.. I have both Art/FS --hmmm
This is after the big inquis nerf. I was finding it a bit tedious until I got to level 12. Biggest problem I had early was no AOE damage. But now with NHB it just rips through everything. Been most soloing R1 and sometimes higher in groups. I am going CHA base and playing as Dragonborn. I think I like the Inquisard build from HC season 1 better. I had to modify that with 1 rogue and 1 fighter instead of 2 arti because I didn't have arti on the HC server.
I'm sure I missed it in the fast-talking video or amidst all of the thread replies, but newb question:
Don't most of the War Soul enhancements focus entirely on your deity's Favored Weapon?
Is there an aspect in this build somewhere that makes Crossbow your Favored Weapon?
Or are we just skipping over those bits and focusing on Crossbow and generalized bonuses?
I was all into this before I suddenly went, "Wait...which Deity has Crossbow as a Favored Weapon!?"
Thanks!
Kent built this exact 12/6/2 split for me in his "custom builds" thread. I don't post often enough to know how to link to it, but it's on page 52 (or thereabouts). The 12/6/2 build is GREAT with ranger! I DO notice that the damage output isn't as good as other inquisitive builds, but the damage is still very very competent. Then again, I don't roll this toon out specifically for damage, this toon is for really amazing support and for soloing some higher level content (I miss having REALLY good trapping, but it's usually good enough with swaps and the healing helps me survive some tougher fights that are beyond my DD inquisitive build at the moment).
Hi, I like this build, but you forgot to mention one thing: how the hell one can take Shiradi Champion Epic Destiny without having 6 level of Barbarian/Druid/Ranger?
The only thing I could think is to have 6 level in one of them, choose the epic destiny and then use a +1 and +5 Lesser Reincartnation (or wasting a +20 one).
There is another way to do this?
The 6 level class requirement is only needed to *start* your Destiny journey in that specific destiny, after that you can work your way around the spheres to unlock them all.
With this build hitting 20 for the first time, you'll be starting in a Divine (Sentinel) and working through to Shiradi on the way to 30
Anybody know if this works well if you can spare 12 AP between racial and war soul to go cleric instead and spend them in falconry?
I'm not seeing any major downsides if you'#re a race other than human getting all those bonuses from say luck domain or protection domain
Cheers
Paddy
If you can get the wis-to-damage out of Falconry without compromising too many points elsewhere, then sure this can work.
Kobold sentient jewel still hate you.
Anyone have experience using this build in R6+ or higher? I feel like FVS healing is always needed/useful but curious how the DPS stands up. Also with U51 changes, what would people recommend for this build. I love the idea of this build and hope I found my new home. I love healing but love being a rogue/trapper also. I will be doing a 1 rogue/19 FVS version of this. The way this works with deity and war soul is great.
