SLA Fireball not hitting <explitive>

Seriously...

I have a lvl 14 tiefling Sorc 18pts in Racial to get all the goodies, Rest into fire Savant. +8 tome and a phasecloak. Running a Flame Orb off hand, a Ravenloft DC (nightmothers little sister) stick Mainhand, Burnscar. and a Cannith ring for Lore. Sitting at ~43sh crit, more with buffs, prob close to 390sh Fire spell sitting power (no buffs). maybe not BiS equip but **** close to it.

Running with Adherent of Mists buff and Beacon of Magic.

And the SLA fireball is missing more than it hits. and when it does hit in R1, a fully empowered maximized is often hitting in the double digits. Occasionally I get a crit, when it should be like 1/2 the casts. DC is like 34. 38 for DBF. I know its not awesome but should be fairly good for Heroic lvl 12-14 quests. Or does everything have amazing reflex and evasion saves?

Anecdotal at best but is anyone else having issues or feel that its under-performing?

It should hit as hard as your level 3 fireball spell. if it's not something is broken.

Thank you for the reply... I think it was more the dungeons I was running. Got invited to a drow heavy dungeon when I wrote this and I forgot every **** archer mob there has evasion. A level or two later putting a Mass Hold on them straightened things out.

If you're talking about Tethyamar, that chain is also relatively recent and therefore difficult for its level. In my opinion it's even a little more difficult than that - I'd call it quite a bit harder than the Disciples of Rage chain (except the last one), which is more recent and roughly the same level
