Favor Tracking Spreadsheet

Ah, I see, the "Total Favor Planned" just checks if you are doing things or skipping them. It assumes that if you are not skipping them, then they are done on elite. If you want a running total of actual favor earned for the level you did the quests on, look at the "Earned" Column.

Let me think about how to best change the "Total Favor Planned" to add elite if blank or the marked favor if not blank. The blanks are what makes it tricky

In the updated copy I had linked above, these fixes and extra statistics were already made. I had also fixed the incorrect favor calculations and some other things from your spreadsheet, but it was a while ago so I don't remember what all I changed. You can always reorder the quests with the sort option since you didn't like how I reordered them, but I would definitely suggest working off of that updated copy where I fixed and added a bunch of formulas. It would just need any content added after HC 4 (so Saltmarsh?).

I am not sure what you are referencing, what incorrect favor calculations? What "other things"? If you are talking about versions from months ago, there have been many changes and updates since then.

It was a while ago so I don't remember what I had to change, but I remember it was pretty substantial. I also added some additional info.

Thank you for the updates! I have removed all links to the one I uploaded earlier now that the official one has the new quests. I do use this even when HCL isn't up to track favor and add quests on release to my file locally, but will keep those offline from now on.

You are fine, I love the bug reports and other input. Please keep it up.

I just got a bit ticked when someone claimed their version was the only one not filled with bugs and lacking features. If you want to do your own project, great, the more options the better, but to take someone else's work, tack on quests that came out since the last revision, add some minor edits, then bad mouth everything you built your changes on, poor form.

I encourage you guys to make your own spreadsheets and add whatever you like but if it is going to be based on my work, just give credit and don't bad mouth it. If it was good enough to use as a bases for your work, then it really couldn't have been all that bad.

The level 9 quest "The Threnal Arena" should have a base favor of 5 (15 on elite) and be for house K.

That makes the total possible for the faction mismatch the wiki, but I can't figure out where the other corresponding error is.

I can't even see what you changed. all of my calculations are still there. the only difference I see is that you added a column that does the exact same thing as the column next to it that I already had but gets the total favor wrong.



The first line seems to add 4 to the total favor you can get for that quest, this of course screws everything that comes after....

I got bored with it after that because everything else is EXACTLY my work.

I really like how you reference lines in the header like Q2 and X2, quality work there....

Updated with the new ToEE favor (yes, both versions are on the spreadsheet, because if you completed the old one before the change, you can keep its favor (for now))
