EDIT for season 2: afaik all wilderness issues are fixed. The only big "gotcha" left is challenges. For example a challenge that is 4-15 is max level 8 to enter. It is determined by base +4, not by max +2.
Semi "gotcha" is crazy ordering in threnal, but if you are watching the quest list this one will hit you before leveling.

I've noticed a few issues running max overlevel for favor. Please add morre if you know them.
Catacombs, quests are 3, talk to dryden is 2.
Delera's, quests are 5,7,7,8, turn in is 6.
