Overlevels to look out for.

EDIT for season 2: afaik all wilderness issues are fixed. The only big "gotcha" left is challenges. For example a challenge that is 4-15 is max level 8 to enter. It is determined by base +4, not by max +2.

Semi "gotcha" is crazy ordering in threnal, but if you are watching the quest list this one will hit you before leveling.

Not sure which one you mean by "turn in" - if the thing where you talk to the NPC to flag for the last (lvl 8) quest, that's a known hiccup.

It's still meaningful if they're playing on Hardcore. You could be low level enough to enter every quest in the Catacombs, yet somehow not be able to receive the quests from Dryden because of this lock.
Same for the final part of Delera's.

Had to redbox catacombs because I took 7 after the first one. You can't enter to advance the quest but can do them.

All explorers are base level +4. Went to do Scoundrels run at 10 and couldn't get in anymore. Same thing will happen if you try to +4 levels in say RL 3rd chain.

STK just tripped me up. Need to be max level 7 to enter the Explorer; I was blocked from both part 2 and part 3!

Challenge for bribing bridge from korthos max level 4

This is exactly what happened to me with the Catacombs chain. I ran the entire chain at Level 7, but couldn't collect any of the end rewards as the brief intro to Bishop Dryden to continue the chain is Level 2 while all of the quests are Level 3. I was able to get the favor and XP, but none of the rewards.

Tangleroot Gorge is another one. The base level of the wilderness area is 4, while the last two Splinterskull quests in the chain are base level 7. I can't even enter now at Level 9 to complete the two "The Last Move" quests.

I didn't even think about out leveling the Dragonmark quest until I thought I might want to swap a feat and found out I was locked out. Wasn't my happiest moment...

steam tunnels are level 3, if you take 8 to do the level 4 stk pt 2 you cant get in.

That is absolutely absurd. Since it is week one they need to change this NOW

I was burned by challenges, you can only run up to 4 levels over the min level of the challenge.
