    Default Zombie form is at full speed for ranged builds??? really?

    Hello, I messaged Steel, Lynn and Cordovan about this but so far had no response.

    I've heard that the zombie form indeed slows down -20% melee attack speed but it does NOT slow down ranged attacks at all so players (especially inquisitives) are going to benefit from 20% damage increase without any restrictions.

    The inquisitive is already the strongest in the whole game right now. Why are you making this even more broken than it is. I see hordes of crossbow shooters everywhere doing high reaper without healers or casters or tanks.

    The shiradi is going to be OP, everyone is talking about the +10 ranged power per core and adrenaline shot in shiradi...

    The ranged builds have the comfort of not taking any hits from mobs.


    Please take a close look at what you've created and ask yourselves if it is balanced.


    I would do something to reduce their running speed at least or make them have very strong attacks but only when standing still or something. Otherwise it is OP and breaking the game in my opinion.

    Helpless damage is planned to be nerfed from 1.5 to 1.25, that is kinda destroying shiradi damage output, so don't worry about it. Also all the doge and pseudo doge (incorporeal and so on) is probably getting nerfed too, so all usual ranged builds are receiving other nerfs too.

    Right now devs are in middle of Changing things for sake of changing things and it's gonna be just garbage for a while, till they get actual competent people who realize that "changing meta for lulz" is a bad idea, that breaks game balance.Especially trying to change how the daily quests are run, and what builds are meta at same time.

    Everyone but people with 120+ Reaper points are gonna suffer for this tho.

    We fixed the bug where Zombie form didn't have Ranged speed reduced before the Hardcore League Preview, the bugfix should be going Live with the PM changes.
    We don't only build for the builds that exist.
    We don't only build for the builds that are good right now.

    The fact that some changes are necessary is not diminished by the fact that other necessary changes have not happened yet.

    Is it both the firing and the reload part that is reduced though - or just the firing part?

    It shouldn't affect reloads, since Attack Speed doesnt modify that one way or the other

    Which means you also dont benefit as much from Haste on your gear, or Speed from enhancements, so it all works out even

    Incidentally its not xbows, but RXBs, that really benefit from this - and we can let Zombie Artis be a thing, RXBs need that much help and then lots more
