    Default threat reduction

    Hi guys,

trying to figure out my last filigree to my treachery set. my monk is in ethereal plane and has 100 hide for the extra SA damage. I'm about to add my last filigree which will give me 3 sets:

    prowess: 5 piece
    sucker punch: 3 piece
    treachery: 3 piece

for the treachery, I have 2 choices. either take +2 confirm crit/damage or take 50% threat reduction. I have rares of both.

    my questions would be:
Does threat reduction stack with subtly
Does this increase the chance for sneak attack
would you take this over +2 confirm crit/damage

the 3 piece set will add 1d6 SA. I also have 1d6 SA on my sucker punch set.

    Thanks!
    Nico

Threat reduction is very noticable and well help you get more sneak attacks by keeping aggro off of you. I absolutely would, and do, slot that into every build that isn't meant to have aggro.

The added 2d6 sneak attack from the sets only averages out to 7 per hit. This is a very small number in comparison to the 33+ sneak damage you'll be getting from SoS and what you already get from items which is likely closer to 40 or more. In general melee power is the better option as your front number physical damage scales with vulnerability and -prr debuffs while the sneak ONLY scales with melee or ranged power. I'd consider the Sucker Punch/One Against Many Rare filigree with a normal Melee Power filigree from each set to stack up 24 MP in 3 filigree slots. Final slot could be a melee power rare from whatever set or the 20 heal amp rare. But I'd not go for 2d6 sneak.

Thank you for the response!. I do have several rare melee power filigrees. I could drop 1 filigree from sucker punch that gives me 1d6 SA and pick up 2 rare melee ones.

    I have the following:

sucker Punch attack and dam rare
sucker punch melee power rare (+5MP)
sucker punch 2 piece set (+5MP)

    treachery dex rare
    treachery melee power rare (+5MP)
    treachery 2 piece set (+5MP/RP)

Prowess 5 piece set (all rare)
    attack and damage rare
    confirm crit rare
    melee power rare(+5MP)
    Dex rare
    PRR rare
5 piece set (includes +5 MP at 3 pieces)

Total MP from my sets = +30 MP

right now I have SA in sucker punch, but could drop this in favor of +5MP and then add another +5MP.

    thoughts on that?

    Thanks!
    Nico
