    It's better than any of the pale master forms for melee dps, it is almost free with racial AP so you free up 41 AP for VKF as well for even more damage, and it is more heal-able by others in reaper and using the melee sharn set (part of the family).

    For a beginner, how would you break your stat points down? You might have said it in the beginning of the thread but I am not up to speed on all the lingo

    because Harper gives Intelligence to hit and to damage, all you really need is Int and Con (and with Insightful Reflexes this build gets Int for Reflex save too for good measure)

    you should probably still put some into Str so you can carry anything though, so after max Int i wouldn't necessarily max Con

    With the new strikethrough mechanics, I'm wondering how successful a 2hF version of this build might be. You could twist in the cleaves from LD, and if Spellsword damage procs on Strikethrough, it might be a really good way to lay on the damage. Zombie form comes to mind, as well.

    Was honestly thinking of doing a HaH build with DAxes so I could keep the orb for gearing purposes for much the same reasons. DAxes for free with martial prof if dwarf seems like it would be easy enough. The loss on gnome INT would hurt, but def wouldn't be that bad.

    is this something that still works or is spell damage now good enough for R3-R5 bosses? I haven't played since the ED rework and I'm eyeballing this to TR into

    Would it be possible to sub all the THF with shield proficiencies and go blaster tank without the ASF and dump str into con? Trying to maximize sturdy with Spell DPS.

    Since you technically only get simple weapons, if going THF I am assuming we are limited to staffs? I did not see anything in the build to allow the use of TH Swords, Axes or Mauls.

    Boosts Sonic Spellpower and I couldn't think of a better use for those extra skill points. IMO one drawback to pure wizard has always been it's an INT-based class with only 3 class skills.

    Sonic isn't an Imbue option for Eldritch Knight (unless they added it when I wasn't looking) but wizards do get a few Sonic spells. Also would boost Sonic damage in Fatesinger, a decent ED for a melee/caster hybrid like this.

    So, I have been rolling with this and its pretty nice but I am suffering on trying to figure out the destiny's.

    I am tying Sharadi and Draconic and primal. At level 21 but nt sure where to take this. Fury of the wild maybe? Any advice on the leveling here?

    Obviously at level 21, you don't have access to a lot of ED perks yet. But long term, it depends on what you want to focus on boosting. In very simple terms:

    • Magus of the Eclipse is good for Necromancy / Negative Energy caster DPS.
    • Draconic Incarnation is good for elemental caster DPS.
    • Fatesinger is a melee DPS / sonic caster hybrid ED.
    • Primal Avatar is primarily a caster ED and Ever Green might be the best temp-spell-points ability in DDO; but it's also got bonus Imbue dice and Evasion.
    • Shadowdancer is primarily a melee / ranged ED, but it's also got interesting perks for an Illusion-specced caster (Nightmare Lance, Weird spell).
    • Fury of the Wild and Legendary Dreadnought are great for melee DPS, doesn't do much for spells.

    For a 2H Warforged Eldritch Knight, I'd lean towards FotW+Draconic combo. The damage bonus to helpless mobs should apply to spells as well as melee attacks, the main way FotW can boost your magical DPS.

    yeah I am not undead and my primary is spell dmg is acid then fire. Would the imbue dice stack for Primal and in draconic?
