It all depends on what you want to do with it. I'm having fun with my arti/fvs. I'd fully recommend a 2 arti splash for the rune arm with the dual xbows (unless you're wanting to run a different capstone than inquisitive's).

I think ranger, arty +whatever is probably one of the better DPS splits out there. I like to through in a level of barb run speed. 12ranger/2+ arty/x whatever. If you don’t mind investing in sneak attack look at rogue/ranger/arty split or dump arty and take 2f or 1 barb.12 or 13 rogue/6ranger/1 or 2 x. I hate to admit it but Tilo’s Critzilla build is nice too. Really you could build about anything with inquisitor. Even a barbarian Xbow or cleric Xbow. But inquisitor seems to be all or nothing. So plan on investing 41 pts in that tree for the capstone.

There is a build in my signature that is quite effective for heroic levelling and gets IPS at level 12 from front loading Ranger levels.
