Default Retired and looking for guild on Ghallanda

    Good afternoon,

I am retired and am playing lower level characters right now. Use to play the old pen and paper version years ago. I am a casual player living in the pacific northwest. want to learn how to play with a group of like-minded people. Currently, I am playing a level 7 halfling rogue in 3 barrel cove. I recently purchased some adventure packs but have been mainly playing the free to play stuff trying to figure this game out.

It is evident that a few of the things I have done really would be better with a group. Not sure of a lot of the finesse things with this game. Currently, I am trying to learn Cannith Crafting. So if there is a guild out there looking for a newer person to the game that has someone willing to help out with a few of the ropes for a fairly new player let me know.

Since I am retired from the US Navy you could call me Chief for right now. thanks for your time.

Welcome Chief, nice to have you. Thanks for your service! Lots of good folks on G-Land, I am sure you'll find some peeps to run with.
My take on "the grind": https://www.ddo.com/forums/showthrea...=1#post6220972

Ordinary humans have inhibitions that serve as a buffer against what we know is bad behavior.
However, some people, by blaming others for their own bad behavior, develop a thought pattern that allows them to override self-control in order to achieve a selfish end.
    - My opinion on exploiters and cheaters blaming SSG for unfair punishment.

Tyrs is full of great people, for sure. They have a play style that is really new-player friendly.
