    Default Tactical Detonation

TacDet is driving me absolutely insane. 10-15 seconds of Knockdown is basically a death sentence.

    1) Does anyone know what save this targets?

    2) Does it call for a balance check? A reflex Save? Fort?

    3) Is there are good defense for Tactical Detonation? FoM? Anything?

    Thanks.

It's a Reflex Saves to avoid Knockdown

If you fail the first Reflex Save and get knockdown it is a re-curing Reflex Save to get up before the duration ends.

Once you run the content its easy to anticipate and move out of the way. Also use terrain.

You don't really need anything other than anticipation to move out of the way.

Also each class has a great way of dealing with these types of baddies. Your kill order should be casters and TD spammer first. For example if I had FoD, I'd finger them. Or if I was a Wis build I'd Implode or Mass Frog them.

If you want to stay in blasts, then pump your reflex and use spell absorbtion.

Spell absorb will stop it? That's a solid solution, then.

I am hip to avoiding things, etc, but that doesn't actually answer the problem. You cannot perfectly avoid the blasts in quests like Sharn because there's a ton going on that you're trying to manage, and they can come out of no where (And through stairs and platforms, etc). But if spell absorb will block it, that's all I really need to worry about. Thanks!
