Not sure why but I never see exhaustion proc so I feel like I'm lacking cc more than damage. Is it melee weapon only or just broken? In raids I'll probably swap five rings back to the trinket slot but for now more cc is better since I solo a lot.
Dang! The sausage man himself using my gearset! What an honor

Yeah, that crippling proc is lovely.
Pfft, 8 ranged power, no boosted ring of prowess?

Just ran some briefs "tests" and the exhaust proc seemed to trigger every 12-15 hits but it certainly doesn't seem to be causing mobs to move 50% slower...
Might need to try against different mobs to see if some are immune or if epic ward causes some kind of refresh that dispels the slow.

I'll throw out my current approach for a PM EK inqui, works solid for me:

    3 pc wallwatch
Winter 4 pc: rune arm, bracers, necklace, boots
Capelet, Ring of Falls Decay: neg and acid for acid well, acid spell sword
Coll Sight con/ins int, bloodsigil ring: stats
Slaver trinket to cover core stats
    Tasset: rel fury, ap

Gets a lot of bonus hp and squeezes in about everything you'd want, even on a stat needy build like pm inqui

Did they ever fix the T5 range alacrity to only apply to regular xbows and not GXB? Thanks.

So having played with your gear layout for a while now at cap. I am fairly certain Legendary Trap the Soul is bugged or blocked by legendary ward I pretty much never see it proc. The heroic version of the necronomicannon is pretty nice though and works throughout heroic content. If you want a good rune arm proc and can handle no 4 piece winter set Legendary Lucid Dreams is growing on me; sovereign nightmares is satisfying to watch proc. I do not find myself using the legendary vinelash bracers as often as I would like since I pug a lot and many people either don't heal or are incapable of it. So I tend to have some healing bracers on to top people off and emergency heal since my inquisitive is mostly ranger. But I will say it holds up well and can solo endgame r4 on most all content with about 30 reaper points. Could probably push it harder but that's a nice comfortable spot to be in. Having played the new bow builds on the test server vs inquisitive on live I still think inquisitive wins hands down despite the nerfs. The extra item slot plus no holds barred is just better than anything the devs have attempted to do with bow combat.

tested it ... and answer is yes ... although the change in number of bolts fired without any buffs is fairly small.

Agreed on the trap the soul, I'm a sucker for getting 4 piece winter in most of my builds currently. I play a number of alts so having that bonus HP means so much. I think it becomes less necessary with more past lives/reaper points. YMMV I'm using Esper on my main currently, that sovereign nightmares proc works REALLY well, I imagine it'd be lovely with inquisitive fire rate.

Yeah, access to sustained burst damage is so meaningful. I think that's a part of why Fury is such a popular destiny (for THFs, Bow, etc. builds). Also, I'm finding that extra gear slot has made it possible for me to try out 7 summer/autumn/spring + 4 winter gearsets. Though I think Feywild gear could use some more stat diversity (more Insightful + Quality stat).

    Edit:
I meant to mention, I'm super stoked about the proposed trinket in the upcoming Update.

    Crocodile Tooth Trinket
    Minimum Level: 3/20/30
Crippling While wearing this item, your ranged weapons are infused with binding power so that when targets are critically hit their movement is slowed by half.
    Accuracy 5/15/
    Armor-Piercing n/a/15/21%
    Insightful Accuracy n/a/7/10
    Blue/Yellow/Yellow Augment Slot
    n/a/n/a/Green Augment Slot
    Set Bonus Saltmarsh Explorer

A lv30 crippling trinket with Competence + Insightful Accuracy, and armor piercing. Yes please!
