What about using the 3 Reverberation filigress for more sonic damage on hit since:
1) Blade song - 2d6 (scales with sonic power)
2) Turn the tide - 5d10+75
3) Harmonic Resonance gives sonic vulnerability by 10% (5 stacks)
4) Aria - +40 sonic spell power
5) Augument - 138 sonic power
6) Augument - 15 performance
Reverberation set:
2 Pieces: Melee and Missile attacks deal an additional 4d6 + 1d6 per character epic level in sonic damage. This effect will not stack with other Sentient weapon procs.
3 Pieces: +20 sonic Spell Power
That would be 2d6 + 4d6 + 1d6 + 5d10+75 and 213 sonic spell power and a bit more if using +9 sonic spell power on Reverberation set or instead of 138 augument, crafting spell power 185 on slaver item.
Questions:
1) The scaling is just for bladesong damage or for all sonic damage on hit?
2) If all sonic damage scales, does it justify using 3 filigress slots?

1) Only Bladesong
2) Makes the extra filigree for Sonic Spellpower rather weak. Though the Sonic vuln boosts the sonic proc of the set, so is nice.
2x Reverberation is arguably the strongest proc of all filigrees. It takes only 2 to reach for one of the least resisted/absorbed elements of the game. Throwers and Inq particularly benefit with their high attack volume. the problem is the competition:
2x STR Raid filigrees provides +4 STR and +18 Melee Power (and one away from 5 more MP and 5% Strike Through)
2x Heal Amp Raid filigrees provides 45% hamp and 50 SP, a very strong bump in self healing in high reapers
2x Final Burial gives 6 Turn Undead charges for Confront Any Foe and a CHA or CON.
Those options stack pretty well against ~50 non-scaling damage procs, especially as it isn't a rapid attacker like ranged.
Curious what Gilga uses to fill his last two slots.
Hard to beat 5 piece Fervor/Prowess, and 4 piece Shattered Device is one of your best possible options unless others are covering it.
Pinc Punch - Unarmed Monk (Uber Completionist) // Porc the Orc - Paladin // Thunderborn - Warlock // Imustbe Emo - PewPew Rogue // Aquamine Artifact - Crafting Artificer (shelved)
I use a 5 piece Prowess or Fervor, 4 piece Shattered Device, 2 piece Reverberation. I'm fairly sure the vuln from FS increases the damage. The numbers feel considerably larger than the ones from the 3 piece shadow set I used forever, but it could be a difference resistances. It's a decent path, especially if you play in FS a lot. You can get the 2d6 from Bladesong fairly high as well.
Yup. Usually I slot STR rare x2.
Since U45 I'm causing huge lag spikes when swapping weapons. That's terrible... on R10 every swap during combat means wipe.
So for general questing I'm using Reflection with fervor set on. I just swap to Constellation (prowess + shattered) vs some reds if I'm solo. I.e. I did r10 Grim solo with Reflection, but I swapped to Constellation before activating the end boss.
Ofc I wasn't able to cast mm for LGS debuffs.
I hope they will fix lag soon. I never had lag issues related to weapon swap until U45. Not being able to swap really sucks :"(

How much is the sonic dmg on a sonic-paladin?
I have no idea but since Bladesong base damage is 2d6 I think really low. On a THF pally I will not take Feywild over Arborea.
Reverberation x2 is negligible damage even in non reaper content.
Here is a screen of R10 bruntsmash beatdown with Constellation, so that you can see the different components.

Any idea what your burnsmash dps is, with no boosts, just auto attacking, no debuffs? Most of my end game 2hf toons range in 15-18 k dps. Im wondering how your pally stacks up.
(In reaper 5 take: burnsmash hp/seconds/0.216)
Thanks in advance.
I guess i use shattered device. But the point, for me, in thoes standard tests are to see what my baseline dps is. Its helpfull for me when comparing my builds to separate burst from sustain.
For example, my cleric/bard came in at 14.7k and as a wizard was 15.7k. However with debuffs and bursts they were at 45k and 27.7 k dps.
DPS tests are always of little use in my opinion, even R10 Bruntsmash.
Math can provide some baseline stats. The rest are active attacks, buff and debuffs. And tactics ofc.
In quest I will never auto attack (with any build) and mobs/bosses should be always debuffed imho.

yes. not sure what is best formula for THF in DDO, doubt anyone got the "correct" or could provide the "correct" formula as in other games that supports 3rd part software....
I personally dig to chain the CoA with whatever I got -- close to no "white" as in rotation dmg... but have hardly studied this U45. THF class yet...
The issue is how do we count the numbers and when do we start the clock? I mean do we wait for every debuff to be applied first or do we start the clock the moment you encounter the boss? The first produces really big numbers, the second is what players actually use since nobody is waiting for "maximum debuffs" before they blast a boss down.
Pick a way and stick to it to keep apples to apples as much as possible.
You can also try out fully debuffed, stacked vs gaining stacks during the fight, etc.
So long as you're consistent it really doesn't matter all that much, it's the closest we have to simming. :/
