We have not had a new raid tier runearm drop in a long time. Raid tier items are normally of greater power than non-raid items so there's more that can be expected from such!

When have we ever had a short ranged raid runearm meant for melee combat?
What of sonic runearms?
We have evil type damage runearms, fire, force, electric, acid, ice, light, and more but none of the runearms out there are Sonic based, though such would make for a good raid Runearm!
Why must search, spot, open lock, and disable device always all count as a single effect on new items?
The effects all on an item at once only means that item will become a swap-out item. This means that the item will likely be unequipped during actual battle, and why shouldn't it be? (Looking at you Legendary Keylock Ring)
Spot, disable device, and search all have no real usage in battle, considering making them all a single effect harms nothing especially if such is to be a raid item effect only.
As a melee artificer, there's one critical thing that interrupts the enjoyment of combat more than anything else: Enemies spamming trip effects and command at you, sure there's still the problem with getting stunned or dazed, but you can't have everything handled!

This runearm evokes spirits of the damned to summon thorny spears of pure sonic energy to pierce nearby enemies with a small chance of casting Wail Of The Banshee on impact from a full charge (Sonic+Piercing damage)
