Sharn code is "invalid"

I purchased the sharn preorder from the ddo marketplace and the code (a mixture of letters and numbers) I was given is not accepted as valid. I've tried entering it on the turbine account page, and as a ddo store code. I've submitted an email support request to standing stone. Is it possible I've been given a steam code? I didn't install ddo under steam. Does anyone have any ideas? I can't find a phone number for customer support.

• perhaps you didn't copy and paste the whole code? Wait till you get the email with the code and try that one.
• Exit game and re-launch it.

Check to see if the C/P for the code put in any spaces at the very beginning or the very end.

The first time I tried to redeem my Sharn code, there was a space in the front that I had to manually delete. Once I deleted that space, it worked perfectly.

Customer support got back to me. It's all good. And was my fault; typo that I should have avoided by copy/paste.
