This set is giving me gyp. Still.

Get rid of the Blur, and take Spell Focus Mastery off the helmet since the casting gloves have evocation 9 on them! It's just CRUEL to have MANDATORY SET PIECES that OVERLAP like this! That might also make it possible to use some of the newer runearms.

The Melee Alacrity is also worthless for the only class that would ever use this set (artificer) because WE GET ARMOR OF SPEED AS A SPELL. We have all the alacrity we could ever possibly need. It can't be dispelled, either, unlike Haste.

Instead of Blur, put Insightful Evocation Focus on the non-raid gloves. For the helm, do Quality Int 5 instead of Spell Focus Mastery.

For the raid gloves, do Deadly and Accuracy instead of Blur and Melee Alacrity.

    It might help a little.

Any chance of getting a light armor for the bard casters out there who aren't all warchantery tier 4 enough to go medium armor and/or like to swashbuckle - but want some dc set bonus to stay relative at end game? (Cloth isn't much of an option for a Swashing bard cuz ouch on the front lines).

Would be fine from charisma based Flamecleansed or Esoteric set.

Edit: For art asset feel free to just use Ragged Rags.... have it drop in a chest that looks like a bucket from a Cogs quest.

Edit2: Feel free to give one of those leafblower pauldrons on the side of the ragged rags.

Crown of Bitter Thorns Raid Helmet
    Minimum Level: 29
    Seeker +21
    Deadly +17
    Accuracy +34
    Insightful Doubleshot +12%
On Lam it's actually called Helm of the Final Watcher:
    Seeker +21
    Ranged Alacrity +15%
    Accuracy +24
    Doubleshot +13%

Could you change the Ranged Alacrity to 22%, so it matches the alacrity of the Blinding Speed feat? This creates parity with the Melee Alacrity 15% items that allow melee to replace this feat with an item.

Should I believe the notes or what's on Lam? There's Insightful Doubleshot on the Wildwood Wrists.

    Speaking of:

    Wildwood Wrists Bracers
    Minimum Level: 29
    (INSIGHT INT, DEX, WIS +10)
    Doubleshot
    Insightful Accuracy +17
    Insightful Deadly +8
On Lam, the Nearly Finished option places +21 stat on the item, instead of the +10 insightful stat.
    Doubleshot is 7% Insightful Doubleshot.
Insightful Accuracy has been replaced with Insightful Deception +9.
Insightful Deadly has been replaced with Quality Deception +4.

Which is correct: Notes or Lam?

    The Dumpster Fire Runearm
    Minimum Level: 15/29
Shoots Garbage (fire + bludgeon damage)
    Quick Firing
    Fire Spell Power +94/+214
    Fire Spell Lore +14%/+31%
    Shield bonus to AC +8/+21
All rune arms only have the Maximum Charge Tier and Rune Arm Imbue qualities on Lam. Can you share what "Quick Firing" does on Dumpster Fire?

Light Crossbow - Nightshade Shooter - Poison dmg, Nightshade poison, armor piercing, Con Damage on-hit

    Default Aesthetic Feedback

Aesthetic feedback incoming. I may or may not edit with images later as necessary.

Is the in-game appearance for the Legendary Hallowed Trail cloak final? Its incredibly plain and boring. The "hat" items are also not very exciting, although the new helm Standard Issue Faceplate is quite lovely and perfect for a half-elf.

Hallowed Trail Cloak & Standard Issue Faceplate

My character's hair (human female with short hair) cut through the collars of the medium armors (Mark IV & Blessed Vestments). Also the Legendary Wildwood Outfit and Legendary Turncoat appeared identical on my same human female and they identically were missing their lower half - exposing her knickers. I'm not sure how I feel about the Nicholson-esque Coattails suits... except that they aren't very feminine and thus not particularly appealing to myself.

Medium Armor Hair Snafu & Wildwood/Turncoat Indignity

    Coattails suit style on Wildcard

The Legendary Enforcer's Coat is interesting and different, reminiscent of a Star Wars style. I like it, but I'm not sold on the color choice. The Legendary Moonguard Buckler cuts into my character's hand/arm badly.

Enforcer's Coat Interest & Moonguard Buckler Discomfort

Legendary Order's Garb and Legendary Watch Captain's Platemail/Blessed Bulwark are very nicely done. And the Legendary Crystalline Ward is perhaps the most beautiful item of the batch. The new orbs have a very fascinating steampunk appearance.

    Order's Garb & Watch Captain's Platemail & Crystalline Ward

So much gray. Really. I would seriously like to have a conversation with one of the art devs about armor color selection.
Assuming something better hasn't been chosen for the Hallowed Trail Cloak... this would make a nice Sharn Cloak:

I've got an idea for a suit of cosmetic items that would appeal I think and be appropriate for Sharn or shortly thereafter.

i dont know if weapon should be counted into armor sets, currently (maybe im wrong) but Part of the Family and Guardian of the Gates Sets will be possible to be worn at same time by warforged monks. while i would love to be able to have dps set on a tank at same time with tank set, it either should work for any class or none at all.

So a previously good pair of gloves that worked as a construct beater (the things with lots of fortification) now no longer has fort bypass? Why? Not being a part of a set is one thing, but now it effectively forces people to use the family necklace if they want armor piercing. Please revert this change.

Since all the armors are more or less the same why dont you make one of each type (docent, robe, light, medium, heavy) and allow the players to apply the set bonus they wish to them? This is how the eveningstar docents worked. It might save you a big headache.

A secondary benefit is it allows off-metta builds access to sets they might want but would otherwise be unavailable to them. This is not over powered because you are still limited to one set.

Just looking through the items. Neither Order's Garb or Legendary Order's Garb have an ML defined.

Sure they will be 15 and 29 but thought you should know.

Default So should acid casters be worried?

In the previous loot thread you said you would work on acid and not to worry.

Well looking at pass 2 of the loot and not seeing acid in any of the sets or gear other than the staff, I am starting to worry and could use some reassurance.

First off I'd vote no to making the boots the Acid item. FOM and Speed are only readily available on Boots whereas spell power is rarely available on boots. This makes it difficult to slot spell power in the boot slot.

Suggestions 1: Add Acid and Charisma to the Arcsteel set and make it more generic Tanky Spell DPS.

Arcsteel does a decent job supporting Wizard EKs but no Charisma and no acid/cold on the set bonuses leave out Sorcs. I know you said you would rather not do this in the previous loot thread do to it not fitting thematically - in the same post you said don't worry Since acid remained left out of every set, I'll ask again while I try and find something to justify it. I believe you also referenced wanting this set to be attractive to EKs in the previous loot thread when discussing the raid gloves. It would be very easy to expand the set to all Wiz and Sorc EKs with addition of Charisma, acid, and cold to the set bonus.

Suggestions 2: add Acid to Hruit's Influence Set

Hruit was a Druid and Druids use Acid so it's not that for of a reach to add Acid to the set bonus for Hruit's Influence. You have this set labeled as Primal Casting - I've always viewed Sorcs as Primal casters as they are not very evolved or disciplined with their spells.

You have already changed the armor to medium which now makes this set very attractive to Fire and Cold EK sorcs and somewhat attractive to Lightning. Adding Acid to it will make it usable by all EK sorcs.

If doing this, it would also be very nice to have a Necklace option that was not so very Fire / Cold specific. The two current non set necklaces don't fit very well either so asking to add one to the set does not make much sense.

Would you consider bundling two necklaces like was done with Ravenloft Belts so the necklace is not a near wasted slot for a Lightning or Acid Sorc? Pendant of the Azure Sky could be Fire/Acid and Pendant of the Azure Sea could be Cold/Elec. This would make sure that all the elements were covered. This change would also provide a piece of gear with acid spell power.

Couple brief thoughts on item appearances:
Orbs are definitely the best of the bunch
The heavy plate+full helmet combo is a close second
The outfit with a kind of sapling design on it is also nifty
"Shirt Only" outfits are fine--on one item, not multiples. (I know they will PROBABLY be changed, but I hope at least one of them stays how it is just to have one)

Most of the other items were meh and didn't particularly stand out, other than the trash can lid which is backwards. Why is the handle on the outside, and the character "holding" the shield with it hovering near their arm when it should be

(if it's a bug related to race/gender, this was on a female Aasimar scourge)

Lynn, I've mentioned this in an earlier post but I'll bring it back up here. How about some of the old composed affixes (https://ddowiki.com/page/Composed_weapon_affixes)? Resurrect these and put them on some of these Raid weapons. Notably:

Dwarven Axe: Hoarfrost, Herald of the Bitter Ice - This seems ideal for the Oceanic prefix (Crushing Wave, Freezing Ice, Tidal Burst)
Heavy Crossbow: Hallowed Splinters - Based on the link to Inquisitive, this would be perfect for the old Crusader suffix (Absolute Law and Good Blast)
Heavy Mace: The Ripplestorm - Seems tailor-made for the old Pandemonium prefix (Roaring, Screaming, Thundering)
Andrialla / Archellus / Kadarin / Mercantile Joe
Knight of The Silver Legion (Forum name: Rugar)
    Cannith / Orien

    Default 3 handwraps or 2?

Lyn thank you for your creative work on so much gear.

I thought you mentioned there were 2 other handwrap possibilities other than platinum knuckles in earlier threads. I am only seeing the one from the Forge ones from the raid.

Is there another pair and I just missing them on the list?

Syranian Wraps, as part of the suite. It's an alternative to Morninglord/Barovian and will be pretty easy to obtain.

Perhaps Healing Amplification could be swapped with something like Life Shield (though with higher numbers)? We're already getting heal amp from any of the set armours, so it'll be redundant if you want to wear a set.

I feel like reinforced fists is already easy enough to come by around this level (A level 10 ring, level 13 wraps, level 15 wraps and a level 12 outfit). It'll also be double if you go for the raid belt at level 29.
Something like Banishing Fists, Disrupting Weapons, Dream Vision (to keep with the moon theme) or Manslayer would be really cool, though. Something that makes your attacks gain a proc. Just my personal opinion of course

I just want to say that I love that we're getting something like Balanced Ki Strike! As a monk main I've always been a huge fans of those unique effects that give bonuses depending on stances, fists or the link.
Here's to hoping that we'll get more like that!

I like the improvements Bravo Lynn!

Considering your typo of adding heal amp to docents brought to light a very important fact. It was a collective dev team decision that made self healing not a part of reaper, putting heal amp makes a lot of sense on the tank set because no one will be repairing them nor can they repairing them selves. Where as changing it to repair amp on say the arti/ek set they can still self heal in low-mid reapers.
