Trouble getting test client to work.

I am not an expert on any of this, so any help and patience is appreciated. I used the links on the lamania thread to download the test client. It said to put in a different location from my playable client, so I hit custom download and added a 2 behind the address. It downloaded the client, but when I click on the icon, it failed an update patch and starts a loop of trying every 60 seconds. Anyone have advise?

Lamannia is down. Try next week (Tuesday). It should update then.

I'm getting the same thing too - there was a hot fix today so maybe something there broke it - but you should know - Lamm-land is closed (so even if you got past the update you still wouldn't be able to access the server) next open preview is tentatively slated for the 14th, I think.

but in any event , the test preview server is only open on certain dates (at the devs discretion) and then only for a short time

my guess is they will have this all sorted out before the next open preview
