    Hello, friends! This is gonna be a long post, so bear with me. Sharn has a lot of items - I mean a lot - a crafting system, new filigree, and some other cool stuff that'll really blow your mind. Without further ado...

    Sharn features a return of the Nearly Finished (House Cannith - not to be confused with Cannith Crafting) crafting system to allow customization to certain items. Some of the ingredients used in the previous incarnation of Nearly Finished will be usable here in Sharn, and some of the ingredients found in Sharn will be usable in original Nearly Finished.

    Sharn Raids will be Tier 4 - a step higher than tier 3. Sharn Items are found at both levels 15 and 29, and Raid items are found at only level 29.

    Quick FAQ:

    Why no Trinkets? There are no Trinkets in Sharn so future packs can greatly expand with them, similar to how Ravenloft had no helms and future packs focused on them.

    How many items per set? All sets listed are 3 piece sets.

    What bonus type are the set bonuses? Artifact, therefore not stacking with Slave Lords and most of RL's set bonuses.

    I, uh, happen have several thousand old House Cannith Crafting ingredients already. That's not a question, but I get what you're saying, don't worry. If you've got a ton of old House C stuff, you can make some headway into Sharn's crafting, but you won't be able to finish anything without actually getting into Sharn itself.

    Color Cheat Sheets:

    Items with stats that are written up (LIKE THIS IN GREEN) mean the player will have a choice between those statistics using the Nearly Finished crafting system.
    Items found in one of the Sharn Raids will be appended with a (Raid)

    Sharn items themselves are broken into several broad categories. Each of which will be separated into a post below.

    • Icons are not final
    • Most Appearances have not been hooked up
    • A smattering of the non-standard effects have not been completed
    • Augment Slots on Shields are missing
    • Set Bonuses will apply the wrong effect to you
    • Crafting system does not exist

    To me it would make sense if this would give an artifact bonus to Int or Cha. Sorcs get the EK tree too.

    Set bonuses are good. Set items, effects, slots and sinergies produced etc. are a bit underwhelming, from a EK perspective. Battlemage has to focus on defense, offense (I mean melee dps) and spell dc. That makes itemization truely tetris lvl infinity, as u need everything to not be noticeably bad in one area. For that reason I would recommend throwing in some form of cookie (EK already has to deal with forced touch range casting, which is very very problematic (in fact I think it should have been precisely the EK the one that could have epic defensive fighting on and no restriction on casting, but anyway)). Regarding the gloves, for a battlemage it really is redundant the melee alacrity, the blurry and the quick draw -> please substitute smtg with profane bonus +2 and smtg?. Could the helmet be changed to feet slot? For what it is intended (the set), helmet slot is already too much taken with other options.

    Is this set meant to apply to both Druid Season's Herald and Sorcerer Savants? Neither Druid or Sorcerer are automatically proficient in Heavy Armor. Druid's can gain Heavy Armor Proficiency from Nature's Protector while Sorcerer's can get Medium Armor from Eldritch Knight. But, would still require purchasing 3 feats to be able to take Heavy Armor.

    Why does the set ignore Acid and Lighting? Both Druid and Sorcerer have these types of spells. You can also say that Warlocks have Acid as well as a subset of Air (Sonic), but they get Light Armor unless they take Medium from Enlightened Spirit. Though Acid does have Mountainskin Set available to them, but Air seems totally excluded.

    Any chance of throwing in an effect like "reinforced weapons" -> +1w to your weapons for all armors? This does not stack with reinforced fists. I said all weapons so it is good for all users, not niche. I guess this set is the improved version of the Ravenloft silent av. Everybody loves +w. Nobody punished. Keep in mind this set kills fleetfoot necklace +1.5w bonus (and other fabulous effects).

    Seems to kill off all RL-sets on melee (at least wis-based monk and perhaps even dex/int -- that now looks much stronger than a falcon-monk). Perhaps, I haven´t studied the gear too meticulously yet. feel free to PM if you´ve found a great way to gear up one... My head spins when I try to fit in all stuff I "want" also spins when I post this post...

    Changing prr into sheltering, change the fort save into ressistance bonus to saves, change the mrr to devotion. Change the healers bounty on the helmet into something like construct hate 60% or insightfull sheltering 30, 3 points more then the regular quest item. And i meant sheltering, not prr.


    Fix the melee set by:
    Adding stats(+2 physical, just like the caster one),
    Change the meleepower into 20, double it when using a rage class ability,
    Remove the +5 saves and add +9 parry to the armors (like ravenloft)
    Add accuracy to the set,

    Although mentioned before (but went without dev reply)
    Seperate from the set but related, allow 2hf to fully benefit from doublestrike, including cleave like attacks.
    Fix the dc's on lay waste.

    Add +5 quality str, con and dex to the brone dragonbelt, casters get theirs too, melee should too.

    Add 50 points to the spell ressistance to the croen or replace it with something functional.
    I hope th 49 was a typo, otherwise i suggest playtesting it first

    Please Lynnabel,

    To further customize our characters, make new augments lvl 29 or 30 with minor quantities but of the desired effects that somehow we may not be able to fit in our builds, for example:

    - Augment of healing amplification 48
    - Augment of deadly 12
    - Augment of armor piercing 24

    So, the nice effects but with minor power, taking into account the easiness of fitting in items. Would make some of us very happy and seems easy to implement (?).

    These look like a typical power for a weapon... I think they should be turned up a notch to also take your glove slot. I get that you are trying to prevent handwraps from getting the set without the body, but maybe just disallow the gloves from the set.

    Relentless fury has a nice appeal in a new slot, might undervalue the raid version.

    Battlemage doesn't have a force spellpower version

    I see some Quality 5 and blurry 35.

    Divine set gets to use both spellpower items, other sets they compete on same slot.

    Ranged set is ok, the gloves are a bit too much solely defensive for my taste but, ok.

    Raid goggles directly overlap the bracers... come-on you will have to use both. And the raid goggles have the spell mastery, just dump the insight off one and give it something else. (my vote is off the bracers, since you will use nightmother's scepter until you have the raid goggles) *ok maybe not take it off the bracers, the black satin waist works with the bracers but makes the raid goggles meh. Makes more sense to put something else on the raid goggles.

    Ethereality... I'm guessing this is 15% ghostly?

    You devs make me just eyeroll and facepalm ... Where was this idea born, and why? So i have to renounce on a full gear-slot with all the disadvantages. Your concept lits my fury.
    It looks more like you don´t have a new concept for balanced item-power, but still want to push it out. Otherwise my monk wouldn´t have to renounce on a gear-slot, but would be totally overpowered if i would keep my gear-slot i assume? Please stop that nonsense

    What type of bonuses are these? We're losing MRR from the set bonus this go around?

    Also, a bit disappointed with the lack of AC bonuses in the gear as a whole. I think I saw one piece with parrying and one piece with natural armor. I don't recall seeing any with protection.
