Morrowind GotY for Free

I still think Morrowind was one of the best RPGs I've ever played. And you can get it for free until 3/31/19.
There are a few hoops to jump through - gotta sign up for an account on Bethesda.net, download their launcher, and redeem the code to get Morrowind. But, you get Morrowind for nothin'.



If you've never played it, I rate it a 20 out of 10. This is a great time to give it a whirl.
If you have played it - this is a great time to revisit.

I missed the Morrowind train when it came out. Thought I'd give it a try for free - Yikes!
I can't even...

Got about an hour into it and then deleted it - too outdated for me. I'm sure it was awesome when it was new - Hell - Zork was awesome when it was new, but I couldn't play that anymore either (And this is from the guy who spent over 500 hours on that game and had a 8ft x 8ft hand drawn map of a 100 pieces of notebook paper stitched together)

eh, it probably has aging graphics, stuttering performance and lag at times as well as no support to speak of, why would anyone play such a game? Think I will just stick with DDO.

Dated graphics yes. stuttering performance and lag? Thats on you its a single player RPG you install onto your PC. Support for a 10+ year old single player probably not.
