You sure there is a Heroic version?

    o https://ddowiki.com/page/Item:Confiscated_Heavy_Mail

Don't see any mention in release notes.

It seems like the Heroic version might be the Coldharbor Cladding which is Medium armor? Otherwise very similar.

Seems odd that Heroic would have Robe/Outfit/Docent/Light/Medium whereas Epic has Robe/Outfit/Docent/Light/Heavy, but that seems to be how the Wiki shows it.

Lama preview 2 seems to show R/O/D/L/M/H for both Heroic and Epic though, but with different names than live. I wonder if something got lost?

Both Heroic and Epic contain both Medium and Heavy armor - Coldharbor Cladding and Confiscated Heavy Mail both exist.

The wiki is updated by users, and it's not unheard of for things to go missing, especially if they haven't been pulled by someone who frequently updates the wiki. If I pull the heroic version of the Heavy Mail or the epic version of the Cladding, I'll update it, but creating new pages takes time and effort and some amount of experience, along with formatting and hunting down where the links should go on the original pages. The Confiscated Heavy Mail page and item screenshot isn't named to indicate that it's an epic variant because the screenshot is before U39.1 which fixed the naming issue, so I can see where the confusion would come from. If you're looking at the wiki page for U39 Named Items (https://ddowiki.com/page/Update_39_named_items), I've updated it to use the DPL based tables that will grab from items flagged for those quests. In order for those items to come through properly, however, there do need to be pages for those items so you will still see those items as missing. When I hit that level range in heroic on this life, I'll try to grab it and make a page if someone doesn't beat me to it and RNG cooperates.

Edit: I created a new page for the Epic Confiscated Heavy Mail, so you'll now see *two* listings for the Confiscated Heavy Mail in the epic section until someone updates the page. Once it's fixed, the heroic version will switcheroo and hop up to the proper place, as by default it sorts by ML.

I have long advocated that prominent wiki editors (or me at least) should receive a complimentary copy of each new item as soon as a release launches... for science!

Thank you for confirming! I haven't run nearly enough of WPM's other tales to have pulled them.

If you see this, just a quick question: why does the Medium armor always have Fire Shield:Cold on, whereas the Heavy and Light require you to be hit/missed for a 10% chance at getting it? Seems slightly stronger than the others, especially if you plan on using it for like lava diving or in like Taming the Flames where you mostly get fire spells thrown at you (and thus no chance for H/L to proc).

Because Medium Armor is slightly unfavored compared to Heavy or Light or Unarmored/Robes, and sometimes you just want to light the players on fire, yanno? It seemed thematic that getting hit in Heavy procced it and getting missed in light procced it, and I guess rather than making neither or both work for Medium I figured I should just let them have it on all the time.

I think that the Coldharbor Cladding will have a special place in my heart because of this. Not because it's the best armor, but because it makes me glow blue and be covered with blue flames. The fire absorption is nice though, I will admit.

I am pretty sure I got that armor in heroics on a run last week. I will check after work and update the wiki, if I remember right.

There absolutely is a heroic version, I looted it just this morning while running with my roommate. It dropped for both of us.

Do you mind if I use that picture for the wiki? Also, do you have something increasing the max dex bonus? It's currently higher than the epic version, which seems unlikely, so I just wanted to make sure I got the right info on the wiki.

While the DDO Compendium is generally way behind in content, it is up to date on most of the newer loot (getting them from Lamannia).

Can you please look through the code to make sure the epic version of Coldharbor Cladding can actually be looted outside of Lamannia?

Me and five others max rerolled on both chests that should have a chance to drop such, all other armors appeared just not that one. I ask around from time to time to see if anyone has managed to get that armor, and I've never found anyone who has. I've wasted a lot of shard rerolling in this quest, please do check to make sure it can drop.

As for the armor he speaks of, it drops a lot........ I don't understand the difficulty.

Also 100% true, sadly - human error does exist, even where we all wish it did not. :/

On this final point I must disagree. This type of article is initially pulled from the release notes, from published loot list of new Named items.

Pictures of a character wearing/holding an item must wait until an editor-type pulls it (and then gets excited to post it appropriately), but the item's article itself tends to get written up according to the release notes within a day or three of those being made public.

And, as I said above, there didn't seem to be any mention of this item in the release notes (tho' I may easily have missed them - I can do that).

Thx for adding the item, L!

We do not publish details of items in release notes, fyi. We publish WIP Preview Notes about some items for Lamannia, but oftentimes those end up very out of date very quickly, which makes a lot of the wiki extremely out of date and incorrect. I try my best to correct stuff on the wiki as I see it, but using Lamannia stuff for screenshots and notes leaves a lot of confusing and conflicting information in places where it can misinform players about itemization choices.

    Hey there,

four days ago I looted the Epic Coldharbour Cladding. In the same runs we also pulled the outfit, light and heavy armors as well as the caster robe.

So it is definitely in the loot tables. It is just the typical "I want X but never get it problem" .E.g. I was looking for the Legendary Ring of Nightfall for ages, but other people pulled it in their first runs.

If I find a screenshot of it I will edit this post and add it.

Not that I am aware of; the character I pulled it from the bank with was a swashbuckler, though. I'll double-check it when the server comes back up, with a monk or something.

EDIT: Wow, okay, something from my Swash must be affecting it, even though it's heavy armor. Here's an updated pic taken from a lower-level monk.
