We have multiple domains for melee and caster clerics, with inquisitive it would be nice to get a new domain for ranged clerics.

You could also technically say these domains are a benefit to Ranged Cleric Builds
Strength Domain - If the Feat Bow Strength is used
Any of the Elemental Domains for builds that employ the Arcane Archer Tree (Class or Race)
War and Destruction add Ranged Power
Now only one domain (Destruction) adds Double Strike, none of the current domains adds Double shot.
So just curious how would that domain look that is more ranged focus?
Yeah I think you just have "martial domains", not necessarily melee vs ranged domains. The only real melee-specific thing is Animal charge. Everything else works with "weapons"
War could ostensibly be a good Ranged domain because it gives you the exotics. Except there's no point in using them if you're not an Arti or Mech, which means you dont need the prof.
Ultimately I think it comes down to "Warpriest still sucks". Also favored weapons suck. If there was more that you could use with ranged combat, then ranged clerics would be more viable, and then things like war domain would be more synergistic with ranged weapons. If Warpriest got a couple more really good Favored Weapon attacks (melee and ranged versions), real build-defining things, and maybe War Domain L5 let you treat any weapon as Favored as well, then I could totally see making a Repeater Warpriest or a /6 Rogue GXB Mech-Priest (just the name alone is awesome)
War domain is good for ranged clerics who do not otherwise get crit bonuses; e.g., the rog 6 / cleric 14 combo using tier-5 Mechanic. But since Inquisitive already provide crit bonuses in the level 12 core, HS would be redundant unless you're planning to spend less than 20 APs in Inquisitive. But any dual-xbow build is going to really want the 30% Ranged Alacrity bonus in tier-5, so that seems unlikely.
Animal domain provides extra HPs and Fortification bypass (if it applies to ranged attacks); Destruction domain provides a bit of Ranged Power (both inherent and from TUs) and Improved Destruction. That's better than nothing, but still a bit weaksauce.
I dabbled a bit on Lama to see if I could come up with a ranged / divine caster Inquisitive hybrid I liked, but the lack of bonus feats (compared to say wizard or Artificer) makes it less than ideal, to put it mildly. There's some flavor ideas I like, but I wouldn't call any of them "good."
Semi-retired Build Engineer. Everything was better back in our day. Get off my lawn.
You might be able to do some interesting things with Knowledge domain. On turn undead, your party gets+1/2 your level in INT, and most ranged builds use INT.
Well then it seems that the new domain should grant a ranged feat or two. Maybe call it Elf domain. (http://eberronunlimited.wikidot.com/domain:elf)
lvl 14: Improved Precise Shot
lvl 9: Special ranged attack: (what's the LGS effect that makes mobs crawl, legendary salt?)
lvl 5: Special ranged attack: you and allies in a medium radius around your first target receive a burst of healing.
lvl 2: Gain Spot, sneak attack range, Doubleshot for every x Cleric levels.
Your Turn Undead works on Dwarves. Ha!
Upon Turning: When you use Turn Undead your party gains +1% to hit per 2 Cleric levels for 20 seconds.
