Sentient Shurikan's

So I was l looking to use my sentient jewel for my shuri thrower....

My first mistake was forgetting that I can not put the jewel into my drow shortword, as then I can not use it in my off hand. OK so that cost me a few deconstructors and tools.

Then, I go ok, so what Shuri can I use with my Jewel. I go to Wiki, I find the below list. Only four items there and all higher level.

But wait, it is not correct as morning star's can not use sentient jewels either!

Obviously, Thunder forged can not, so that leaves Dawnbreaker, Spite and I guess the free Raven loft ones. Meaning no jewel for me until level 28 at a min. That is kinda crappy is it not?

So is this intended, are shuri builds too OP or am I missing another source?

This. Only ML20 if you not have tons free sxp and gems, both ML20/24 if have. And, of course, Spite asap after. 8)

Morning Stars/Dawnbringer is pure garbage, don't use it.

yeah thanks I have never actually done that before, I guess I could try, don't run those challenges very often. Well maybe next time I do shuri build.

Think I will just use my thunderforged one, and forget the sentience.

the spellplague effect on the cormyrian stars means an extra one is generated with each one, for an extra proc. I put snake bite in my level 24 for curiosity to see if the poison damage per level also appeared on the extra spellplague shuriken. It seemed like it did but on my MAC I had a hard time figuring it
out. Plus poison damage had a lot of sources (Sting quiver) so I had to unequip and play around.
I have never been good at researching these things...

Anyway, if the extra proc activates the poison too that will effectively double such sentient damage and obviously the assassin acid etc are better choices than poison.

I wonder too now if EK imbues will get doubled. That would be a huge dpsnboost. We need someone with a better rig to test.

More DPS in Spelltouched. Use TF for DR Breaking situations.

Spelltouched do require some patience. Basically have to cycle through them until you get a decent set of abilities (which are hidden if memory serves) so slightly time consuming.

Not hidden. It shows what it does but each hit does additional random stuff each throw.
