Default Universal Tree with Aberrant Dragonmarks

Been ages since the dragonmarks gotten some love.

How about an universal tree that has Aberrant Dragonmarks?
These marks seem a perfect fit for such a universal tree.

    Maybe a multi selector of:
    - Dominance, long range line of sight
    - Insta kill, touch

    Maybe combine it with sorcerer?

I know, right? There aren't even a good variety of gear out there for Dragonmark improvement (In which is something I feel Sharn should fix).

Maybe something similar with similar flavor like the Child of Khyber PnP prestige class
    http://archive.wizards.com/default.a...ebds/20070416a

One problem is that by PnP lore, only certain races can have dragonmark. So probably gotta restrict the class to dragonmarked races. Or allow past life: race to qualify. (for nerds, here's an obscure ruling about druid spell Reincarnate and dragonmarks: http://archive.wizards.com/default.a...ebds/20051024a)

What dragonmarks need is a way for them to recharge (or just give us more charges).

Halfling and Elf dragonmarks are still very good, but so limited it's not worth taking past heroic.

It is like going to a museum and bragging about how fast you made it through. Or bragging about how fast you finished a good steak.

The aberrant dragonmarks are not house restricted, they can appear at any age regardless of bloodline.

That's especially why I propose them for a new universal tree.

Will look into that Child of Khyber. Maybe there is some more inspiration there.

Hmm, interesting, is that from 5th edition UA? Because in Eberron 3.5 canon, aberrant dragonmarks are only available for Dragonmarked races (human, dwarf, elf, gnome, halfling, half-elf, or half-orc).

Liking this idea in theory, look forward to more fine-tuning of the concept. Also hoping for new "dragonmark tattoo" graphics to go with it (if only for those who like to live dangerously/thumb their noses at the law).

On a related note, still waiting for the "Dragonmark Heir" tree/trees

Eberron specific books that mention them since 3.5
    http://dnd.arkalseif.info/feats/eber...--2/index.html p47
    http://dnd.arkalseif.info/rulebooks/...--7/index.html p141

Biggest difference over the various DnD versions seem to be whether or not Tarkanen is a house or not and the # of feats needed for the dragonmarks.
Also, they are considered dark and while a prerequisite alignment is not good it is reflected back onto the personality as troublesome (up to the brink of insanity) and causing fatigue on usage.
